Aula Medica

Aula Medica is the main auditorium at Karolinska Institutet and one of the largest lecture halls in Scandinavia. The venue is known for its striking modern architecture and advanced audiovisual facilities.

The keynote lectures of EPICOH 2026 will be held in Aula Medica, providing an excellent setting for high-quality scientific presentations and plenary sessions. The auditorium offers excellent visibility, acoustics, and comfort, supporting an engaging conference experience.

Berzeliuslaboratoriet (BZ)

Berzeliuslaboratoriet is a central teaching and research building at Karolinska Institutet, offering flexible lecture halls and seminar rooms well suited for parallel scientific sessions.

At EPICOH 2026, Berzeliuslaboratoriet will host oral and parallel sessions, providing a focused and collegial environment for scientific discussion. The building is located within easy walking distance of Aula Medica and other conference venues on the Solna campus.

Inside Berzeliuslaboratoriet, you will find the preview centres and lecture halls used for EPICOH 2026:

• Lecture Hall: Andreas Vesalius
• Lecture Hall: Christina Larsdotter

The poster sessions will also take place in Berzeliuslaboratoriet, with coffee breaks and lunch served here from Tuesday to Thursday.

The speaker preview centres are available for speakers to upload and check their presentations before their sessions.

Scheelelaboratoriet

Scheelelaboratoriet, located at Tomtebodavägen 6, will host several scientific sessions during EPICOH 2026.

Inside the building, you will find the following lecture halls:

• Lecture Hall: Samuelssonsalen – ground floor
• Lecture Hall: Franklinsalen – one floor up
• Lecture Hall: Scheelesalen – one floor up

Scheelelaboratoriet is easily accessible from Berzeliuslaboratoriet. You can walk directly between the two buildings via the courtyard (as seen on the photo)
