Welcome Reception at the Stockholm City Hall – Monday 24 August at 19:00
By invitation of the City and County Council of Stockholm (Region Stockholm).
Dress code: casual.
The reception starts at 19:00 sharp, please plan your travel wisely. Arrive early, doors are closing 19:00 sharp – bring your invitation card!
Limited number of seats . We apply “first come, first served”. If you have registered for the Reception and are unable to attend, please contact the conference secretariat: epicoh2026@akademikonferens.se.
How to get to Stockholm City Hall from Karolinska Institutet Campus Solna (Individual transport)
- Take the metro to T-Centralen, followed by a 10–15-minute walk to Stockholm City Hall.
- Alternatively, change at T-Centralen to metro line 10 or 11 and travel one stop to Rådhuset, followed by a 5-minute walk.
- Take bus 3 from Karolinska Institutet Biomedicum to Stadshuset. The bus journey takes approximately 20 minutes, followed by a 2-minute walk.

Early Career Event – Tuesday 25 August at 19:00
The Early Career Research Dinner at EPICOH 2026 will take place at Centrum för arbets- och miljömedicin (Centre for Occupational and Environmental Medicine), Region Stockholm.

This event offers an excellent opportunity for early‑career researchers in occupational health and related fields to connect and expand their professional networks. The evening will feature a buffet‑style dinner along with engaging social activities designed to help participants get to know one another.
Attendance is limited to participants who selected this option during the EPICOH conference registration.
Conference dinner at Berns – Wednesday 26 August at 19:00
The conference dinner of EPICOH 2026 will be held at Berns Salonger, a historic venue located in central Stockholm, adjacent to Berzelii Park.

Berns has served as a cultural and social meeting place since the 19th century and combines preserved historic interiors with modern facilities. The venue offers an elegant setting well suited for conference dinners and social gatherings, providing an opportunity for participants to connect in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.

How to get to Berns from Karolinska Institutet Campus Solna (Individual transport)
The fastest and most convenient way to get from Karolinska Institutet (Solna) to Berns is to take bus 3 or bus 5 to Liljeholmen or bus 6 to Odenplan and then change to the green Metro line to Hötorget or T-Centralen. The total travel time is around 30-40 minutes.
Bus + Metro
This is usually the smoothest route using public transport via SL.
- Walk to the bus stop: Go to the stop named Karolinska Institutet Biomedicum or Hagaplan.
- Take Bus 3: Board the blue bus line 3 heading towards Södersjukhuset.
Take Bus 5: Board the blue bus line 5 heading towards S:t Eriksplan.
Take Bus 6: Board the blue bus line 6 heading towards Ropsten. - Bus 3 change at S:t Eriksplan: Get off at S:t Eriksplan (this bus ride takes about 5-7 minutes)

Bus 6 change at Odenplan: Get off at Odenplan (this bus ride takes about 5–7 minutes). - Take the metro: Head down to the metro station and take the Green Line going south.
- Get off: Exit at either Hötorget or T-Centralen and walk the remaining distance (approx. 10 minutes) to Berns at Berzelii Park.
