Welcome Reception – Stockholms stadshus

The conference welcome reception will be held in the grand Stockholm City Hall, one of Sweden’s most iconic buildings and a symbol of the city of Stockholm.

Stockholm City Hall is internationally renowned for its architecture and for hosting the annual Nobel Prize Banquet. The venue provides a unique and memorable setting to welcome participants to EPICOH 2026 and to the city of Stockholm.

Aula Medica

Aula Medica is the main auditorium at Karolinska Institutet and one of the largest lecture halls in Scandinavia. The venue is known for its striking modern architecture and advanced audiovisual facilities.

The keynote lectures of EPICOH 2026 will be held in Aula Medica, providing an excellent setting for high-quality scientific presentations and plenary sessions. The auditorium offers excellent visibility, acoustics, and comfort, supporting an engaging conference experience.

Berzeliuslaboratoriet

Berzeliuslaboratoriet is a central teaching and research building at Karolinska Institutet, offering flexible lecture halls and seminar rooms well suited for parallel scientific sessions.

At EPICOH 2026, Berzeliuslaboratoriet will host oral and parallel sessions, providing a focused and collegial environment for scientific discussion. The building is located within easy walking distance of Aula Medica and other conference venues on the Solna campus.

Conference dinner – Berns Asiatiska

The conference dinner of EPICOH 2026 will be held at Berns Asiatiska, a historic venue located in central Stockholm, adjacent to Berzelii Park.

Berns Asiatiska has served as a cultural and social meeting place since the 19th century and combines preserved historic interiors with modern facilities. The venue offers an elegant setting well suited for conference dinners and social gatherings, providing an opportunity for participants to connect in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.
